I created this mural in the Merleyn in Nijmegen. I used to frequent the Merleyn and played there once with my former band, Dr DUVAL. It’s extra cool to have an explosive colour eruption here. For this assignment, I dug up various images from my sketchbooks and gave them space on the wall. It feels like a rebus; it’s not, yet a story emerges. The random elements stimulate the audience’s imagination.
